ABOUT ME

EMMANUEL TCHIVIDJIAN

​

Mr. Tchividjian is the principal and owner of The Markus Gabriel Group, an ethics and communication consulting practice.

​

Emmanuel was a senior vice president and chief ethics officer at Ruder Finn, from 1997 to 2017. When he first joined the firm, he worked on the Government of Switzerland’s account on issues relating to WWII and the Holocaust.

​

Prior to joining RF, he worked for the Government of Switzerland in public speaking and organized special media events on these same issues.

​

Previously, he was the director of programs and member services of the New England-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Boston, Massachusetts.

​

Mr. Tchividjian’s background is in finance. He provided investment management services to family-owned Swiss investment holding companies in the U.S. Canada, France and Switzerland.

​

Mr. Tchividjian was certified Compliance & Ethics Professional from the SCCE in 2006 and is a member of Ethics and Compliance Initiative. He is the Ethics Officer of the NY Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and a member (ex-officio) of

National Board of Ethics and Professional Standards.

​

Emmanuel has engaged in public speaking on ethics, public relations and crisis communication. He has been a guest on CNN/FN, NY1, WGBH, and New England Cable News. He is a frequent guest speaker at major universities such as Columbia University, NYU and Penn State. He is also a frequent presenter and panelist at international conferences.

​

He co-authored a chapter in the Ethics and Compliance Handbook publish by the ECOA and authored an article in Compliance: First priority of Corporate Responsibilities published by China Economic Publishing House. Mr. Tchividjian has written articles for

numerous publications such as Harvard Business Online, PR Week and PR news.

 

Mr. Tchividjian has published bi-monthly blog posts on ethical issues for the past 10 years.
